In the wake of reports that he could be facing legal trouble for plagiarizing comic artist Daniel Clowes' work in his short film, actor Shia LaBeouf has sent out more apology tweets. However, like his previous apology tweets, these are plagiarized, too.
Last week, Clowes’ publisher said that they were “exploring all legal actions” against LaBeouf. The former Transformers actor was first accused of plagiarism earlier this month when the short film HowardCantour.com was finally released online. It turned out that the script was taken directly from Clowes’ 2007 comic Justin M. Damiano.
LaBeouf apologized, but even those apologies were not original. Now, he’s being accused again because tweets he sent recently aren’t original either.
Entertainment Weekly notes that the following tweet was originally written by porn star Mr. Marcus last year and has since been deleted.
I can't apologize enough. I'll always be sorry this happened. Trust is hard earned and I messed that up. #Gottadobetter

Another tweet, as seen below, was originally written by Jade Goody, who was accused of racism during Celebrity Big Brother.
I am sorry for the hurt and pain that my actions caused. This is not a publicity stunt.

LaBeouf has just sent some more tweets, apologizing for the plagiarized tweets. In another message, he said he hopes “to work on being a less controversial tweeter” in 2014. We can only hope that he sticks to that resolution.
You have my apologies for offending you for thinking I was being serious instead of accurately realizing I was mocking you.
