Comedian and host Steve Harvey has the opportunity to interview President Barack Obama for his talk show, Steve Harvey.
The Wrap reports that Harvey interviewed President Obama today to air on next Friday's episode of Steve Harvey. In the interview, Harvey talks with Obama about family life, fatherhood, and his holiday plans.
According to Politico, Harvey is very grateful to have this opportunity to speak with the president and share it with his millions of viewers.
"Sitting down with the President is something I've always dreamt of doing, and I am honored to have the opportunity," Harvey said. "I’m grateful to President Obama for welcoming me and I’m thrilled to share this experience with all my viewers."
This interview appears to be more lighthearted for Obama than his other recent and more difficult interviews, discussing topics such as NSA surveillance, Obamacare, and a nuclear deal with Iran.
Steve Harvey has a total of 2.5 million viewers daily, and had four consecutive weeks of series highs.
The Steve Harvey Barack Obama interview will air next Friday, Nov. 20 on NBC.
