Unclear rumors have gone viral on the Internet that young urban actress and entertainer Teyana Taylor has been released from ongoing deal with Adidas. Supposedly, the brand released her after she got into a Twitter feud with Barbadian pop star Rihanna, where Taylor maliciously reposted the infamous horrifying 2009 picture of Rihanna’s battered and bruised face, resurfacing memories of the assault done by R&B singer and ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.

Adidas, who’s home to many celebrity sneaker lines such as Jesse Owens, Derrick Rose, and newly signed Kanye West, claims that Taylor was in support of domestic violence when she reposted the picture of Rihanna’s bruised face during the Twitter altercation. According to International Business Times , a senior PR manager from Adidas released an email confirming they will no longer continue launches with Teyana Taylor, stating “We evaluate our relationships with partners based on the values we hold at Adidas and we don’t condone violence of any kind.” Contrary to this email, a representative of Taylor stated that the sneaker is currently on hold.

Taylor signed a deal with Adidas in February that enabled her to launch the Original Harlem Good Luck Charm Adidas , which received much support from her fans. It was in fact the first Adidas sneaker to sell out unusually fast according to online magazine Singers Room . Fans were left disappointed this past Black Friday when the shoe that was due for release did not hit the shelves.

The hip and slim Taylor did not personally address the allegations other than a tweet she posted saying “Hey haters’ imma let ya’ll finish but I had the fastest selling Adidas of all time.”
