Denver police have three men in custody after a confrontation led to multiple stabbings outside of Sports Authority Field Thursday night.

According to the Denver Post, three people were arrested and police said they did not believe any other suspects were at-large.

One person was in critical condition and two people were stable due to stab wounds they sustained when a confrontation turned violent after the Broncos 27-20 loss to the San Diego Chargers.

Police responded to the altercation at 9:55 p.m. (11:55 p.m. ET) and described the scene as chaotic. Law enforcement is working to determine what caused the fight and if the suspects attended the game, Fox News reports.

The stabbing is the latest in a string of incidents involving NFL fans this season and the second following a Broncos game within the last two weeks.

On Dec. 1, a man died during another post-game altercation in the parking lot of Arrowhead Stadium following the Broncos' 35-28 win over the Kansas City Chiefs.

Earlier this year in San Francisco, a teenage fan suffered a concussion, broken arm and broken nose at Candlestick Park after police say he was attacked during the 49ers' game against the Indianapolis Colts.
