Daft Punk is a band that has no musical boundaries; their sound transcends musical genres. The French electronic music duo consists of Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter. Their music started coming together back in 1987 but they did not hit the mainstream until the late 2000’s when they created the soundtrack for the TRON reboot.

Now the duo is enjoying a highly successful year in 2013 with their album, Random Access Memories which earned the duo four Grammy nominations including record of the year for “Get Lucky.” The album has sold over 852,000 copies so far in the United States alone. The duo will also be taking the stage and performing during music biggest night.
