NBC won the night thanks to the return of a capella competition show The Sing-Off, which was boosted by lead-in show The Voice.

NBC easily topped all networks in both the adult 18-49 demographic and average of viewers with a 2.8 demo and 9.86 million views, HitFix reports. The Voice was steady from last week with a 3.4 rating, leading the way for the return of The Sing-Off which managed a 2.4 average between the two hours.

Fox came in second in the demo with a 2.0, but fell behind ABC in regards to viewers, with 6.25 million tuning in. Almost Human improved slightly for the night to a 1.8 rating. Sleepy Hollow fell to a 2.1 in the demographic.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, ABC spent the night showing reruns and Christmas specials, so the network managed only a 1.6 in the demo, but 6.5 million viewers. Santa Claus is Coming to Town stayed the same with previous years at a 1.7 demo and Great Christmas Light Fight was decent with a 1.8 rating.

Mike & Molly and Hostages were the only CBS shows with new episodes, averaging a 2.0 and 1.1, respectively. The network was down to a 1.3 in the rating and 5.3 million viewers.

The CW followed in ABC's heels with specials, One Direction IHeart Radio Album Release Party and two animated shows, and averaged only a 0.3 in the demo and 918,000 viewers.
