VH1 is scheduled to re-air all 57 episodes of Happy Endings, which was cancelled by ABC.
Entertainment Weekly reports that VH1 will host a Happy Endings marathon from New Year's Eve at 8 p.m. throughout New Year's Day.
It will then settle into its regular time slot of Wednesdays from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. starting Jan. 8.
Entertainment Weekly also reports that ABC's decision to cancel the series was not an easy one.
"I do think Happy Endings is absolutely on brand," Paul Lee, ABC's entertainment chief said. "What we found was it was just too narrow. It was a very hard decisions because, as you know, I love that show and I found it very hard to make that decision."
Super Fun Night and Mixology were expected to bring in a wider audience, and therefore were renewed, causing Happy Endings to get the boot.
The Hollywood Reporter reports that the shows cancellation did not leave its stars hanging dry. Damon Wayans Jr. and Adam Polly have roles on The New Girl and The Mindy Project, and Eliza Coupe will appear on The Millers and a pilot series on USA.
Episodes of Happy Endings will also be available online via VH1 platforms.
