Kayo Redd, who is the younger brother of Waka Flocka Flame (pictured), was found dead on Sunday and police believe that the cause of death was likely suicide.
Police told TMZ that their investigation points to suicide as the cause of death for the young rapper.
His body was found in a Georgia subdivision and his mother, who is also his agent, Debra Antey, went to Twitter to confirm Redd's, real-name Caodes Scott, passing. She simply tweeted, "I just lost another son." She had previously lost a son when Flame was 13 years old to a car accident.
According to Rolling Stone, the discovery of Redd's body came only hours after he had been promoting his mixtape Redd Kisses.
Early reports on Sunday had often disagreed on how Redd had died, with some suggesting either suicide or a shooting.
Flame took to Twitter to publicly mourn the loss of his brother, writing, "Ya Big Brother love you Kayo." He followed that photos of his brother.
