A new video has surfaced on YouTube of Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson suggesting men find new wives who are as young as 15 years old.
The video, which comes soon after Robertson’s controversial remarks about gay marriage, was taken at a 2009 Georgia Sportsmen’s Ministry event, according to People.
In it, Robertson can be heard saying: “Look, you wait ‘til they get to be 20 years old, the only picking that’s going to take place is your pocket. You got to marry these girls when they are about 15 or 16. They’ll pick your ducks. You need to check with mom and dad about that, of course.”
According to Fox News, Robertson married his wife, Kay, when she was sixteen years old.
Robertson recently raised controversy after making anti-gay remarks in an interview with GQ.
His remarks, which likened being gay to bestiality, resulted in a temporary suspension from the show by A&E. However, after backlash from the show’s fans, the network recently announced that Robertson will be allowed to resume filming with the rest of the family, according to People.
