Syfy has given the word that the popular series, Haven, will be renewed for a fifth season.
According to Variety, Haven is the story of Audrey Parker, an FBI agent to goes to a small town in Maine to look for an escaped convict. Haven stars Emily Rose, Lucas Bryant, and Eric Balfour. It is based on The Colorado Kid, written by Stephen King. King is also having success this year with his show, Under the Dome.
Eric Balfour is known for his work in Six Feet Under. He is an actor who was previously seen in Face of Terror, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and The Legend of Hell’s Gate: An American Conspiracy. Emily Rose played Dr. Tracy Martin in the television series, ER. She is known for her work in the television series The Ghost Whisperer and the television movie, The Thanksgiving House.
Haven isn’t the only show that has been renewed on Syfy. According to The Hollywood Reporter, other shows recently renewed on Syfy include Defiance, Continuum, and Being Human.
