ABC Family’s television series, The Fosters will be online with a web series spinoff.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Fosters: Girls United, will be a five-part web series that will feature the participating residents of the Girls United group home in the show.
ABC Family is no stranger to this type of outlet. In 2012, ABC Family hosted an eight-episode Pretty Little Liars web series entitled, Pretty Dirty Secrets that took place during the television show’s break.
The Fosters: Girls United will be a five part series consisting of three to five minute episodes. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the episodes follow “the girls’ theories when one of the members from the group home goes missing.”
The Hollywood Reporter also stated that the web series will star familiar faces including Maia Mitchell, Daffany Clark, Cherinda Kincherlow, Annamarie Kenoyer, Alicia Sixtos, Hayley Kiyoko and Angela Gibbs.
The web series will kick off Feb. 3 at 7 p.m. PT/ 10 p.m. ET. It’ll be available for viewing after the original episode of The Fosters on ABC Family that airs on Mondays at 9 p.m.
