The buying spree continues for ABC. The network recently order pilots for Astronaut Wives Club and three other dramas for the upcoming season.
Astronaut Wives Club will tell the story of women who stood beside some of the men that have now become a huge part of American history because of the space race. Variety reported. This pilot comes from Stephanie Savage. Josh Schwartz and Len Goldstein will be executive producing the show.
The other three dramas for the network will include Agatha, Warriors and an untitled project that will tell the story of around the love and rivalry between two equally matched, powerful socialites.
Agatha will tell the story of a procedural that centers on former convict turned big city criminologist, this hails from Tom Donaghy, The Wrap added.
Warriors was written by Steven Baigelman and will tell the story of active duty military doctors and nurses as they are out in war zones practicing medicine.
No casting decisions regarding these upcoming shows have been announced or release dates for the projects.
