Even though the holiday seasons has come to an end, ABC is continuing on with a Pixar Christmas tradition.
ABC has announced that the network will continue to show Pixar animated specials during the holiday season, continuing this year with Christmas entry Toy Story That Time Forgot, Variety reported.
The story will focus around a after Christmas play date for the Toy Story gang when a group of action figures turns on the group. The action figures turn out to be "dangerously delusional," Hit Fix reported.
The Christmas special will star the original Toy Story cast including, Tom Hanks, Don Rickles, Tim Allen and Wallace Shawn.
For the upcoming Christmas special, Galyn Susman will be producing and Steve Purcell will be directing.
ABC had a previous hit when the network aired, Toy Story OF TERROR! The Halloween special attracted over 10.5 million viewers.
Toy Story 3 was one of the highest grossing animated films of all time and received an almost perfect score on the movie site, Rotten Tomatoes.
