Barry Chamberlain will take on a new role at CBS Studios International. The television executive has been promoted to the position of President of Sales.

CBS Global Distribution Group President and CEO Armando Nunez told The Hollywood Reporter, “I've had the good fortune to work with Barry for the past two decades, including the last 15 years at CBS. I'm incredibly proud of Barry’s accomplishments, excited to promote him to this expanded role and honored to have him as a partner as we continue to grow CBS’s international business.”

Chamberlain’s new job will be to lead distribution business globally. Since 2009, he played an important role in the group’s science fiction series, Under the Dome. The popular television series deals with an invisible force that descends on a town in the United States. The first episode of season two of Under the Dome was written by Stephen King, according to Variety. The cast includes Mike Vogel, Rachelle Lefevre, and Dean Norris.
