Sadly the last episode of American Horror Story: Coven aired last night and now fans of the show will have to wait for the new season to begin. While some fans believed that this season was the weakest out of all of the seasons of the show, one has to admit that this season had no shortage of great quotes throughout the episodes. As the remaining witches of the coven completed the test of the Seven Wonders to determine who the new supreme would be, the episode was filled with great lines and intense moments. Here are some of the most note worthy quotes from episode 13 of American Horror Story: Coven

During one of the tests, the witches have to complete decensum, which means they have to journey to Hell by leaving their physical bodies and then returning back to them safely. Each person has their own individual Hell in which they have to endure. Queenie’s Hell is shown as her constantly working behind the counter of a fried chicken restaurant, Zoey describes her Hell as Kyle breaking up with her over and over again. As for snobby Madison Montgomery she reveals her Hell to be every Hollywood actor’s worst nightmare. "I was stuck on a network musical, a live version of 'The Sound of Music.' I wasn't even the lead!” This hilarious quote by Madison wasn’t a shock to viewers as she has been know the whole season has a bratty princess.

After Madison Montgomery realizes she has failed the Seven Wonders, she quickly storms off claiming she is leaving the coven for good. As she is packing her bags, an upset Kyle comes and confronts her about why she didn’t revive a dead Zoey. In a fit of rage Kyle proceeds to strangle Madison. Trying to convince him to stop, she claims that she is in love with him and begs him to believe her; that she only let Zoey die because she loves him, to which Kyle replies “You’re not that good an actress,” and then goes on to kill her. That moment must have been one of the satisfying moments of the season, as many wanted to see the bratty Madison disappear for good.

The night before the Seven Wonders begin, Cordelia throws a sort of “last supper” type meal for the witches in preparation for the dangerous test they must endure the next day. In order to motivate them she gives them a piece of advice. “When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I understood like a child, I thought like a child. But when I became a woman, I put aside childish things.” In a way it was almost as if Cordelia was really talking about herself and about her relationship with her mother finally coming to an end, her finding herself as a woman and finally becoming the Supreme herself.

In a surprising moment of the episode, Myrtle Snow decides that she wants to burn at the stake for her previous murders against coven council members. Much to Cordelia’s dismay who sees Snow as a mother, Cordelia decides to agree to Snow’s wishes at burning at the stake. Right before Snow burns in flames, Cordelia asks of her if she has any last words. “Balenciaga,” yells Snow. Balenciaga is Spanish designer who has his main fashion house in France. Needless to say the designer is quite high end and glamourous, which fits Snow’s constant couture style the whole season, making her last words very fitting.
