Fox announced on Wednesday that Bones had been renewed for a 10th season and that it will be moving back to Monday nights for the rest of the current season.

Variety reports that Bones was originally moved to Friday nights, but will return to Mondays when Almost Human concludes its first season at the beginning of March.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the next season likely could be the crime procedural's last. Though that hasn't been officially confirmed, the thought was mentioned by the Fox head Kevin Reilly earlier this month.

Reilly spoke of the show saying, "Over the course of nine seasons, Bones has grown from a hit crime procedural into a beloved pillar of our lineup that resonates with fans in a way that only the best of shows can."

The show stars Emily Deschanel and David Boreanz who solve crimes by focusing more often on the forensic aspect than most other procedurals.

Fox also announced that Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares will begin airing its sixth season in March, when Bones makes its move back to Monday night's.
