The Breaking Bad team has already called Saul back and now Michael “Mike” Ehrmantraut is making his return as well. Jonathan Banks will reprise the role on AMC’s prequel series, Better Call Saul.

Banks will be back as a series regular for the show, which will star Bob Odenkirk as lawyer Saul Goodman. Deadline, which first reported the news, notes that Banks first appeared in the role in Breaking Bad’s second season finale and was a series regular for two and a half seasons. He earned an Emmy nomination for the first part of Season Five.

Better Call Saul was officially greenlit in September and was created by Breaking Bad’s Vince Gilligan and writer/producer Peter Gould. The writing team will also include Breaking Bad vets Gennifer Hutchison and Thomas Schnauz.

Better Call Saul premieres in November.

Banks can currently be seen on NBC’s Community, playing a professor who replaces Chevy Chase as the old man in the show’s study group.
