No topic was off limits for Cameron Diaz in her new book The Body Book: The Law of Hunger, the Science of Strength, and Other Ways to Love Your Amazing Body with Sandra Bark. She wrote about acne, eating unhealthy as well as pubic hair.
The Other Woman actress, 41, known for her healthy lifestyle and toned physique, said she finally got rid of her acne problem once she started eating correctly.
She admitted, "I didn't think I needed to change the way I ate because everyone told me, 'You are so skinny. You can eat whatever you want.' But I felt sick in my own body,” USA Today reports.
Touching on the topic of pubic hair, Diaz urged women not to undergo laser hair removal to become completely naked down there. She suggested it would only be a fad and they might regret it down the line.
"I know you may think you'll be wearing the same style of shoes forever and the same style of jeans forever, but you won't,” she wrote. "The idea that vaginas are preferable in a hairless state is a pretty recent phenomenon, and all fads change, people."
She also wrote, "It’s a personal decision, but I’m just putting it out there: Consider leaving your vagina fully dressed, ladies. Let’s be honest: Just like every other part of your body, your labia major is not immune to gravity."
About a month ago, Diaz posted a photo of herself with the first copy of her book, writing “One of my proudest moments! Receiving the first bound copy of The Body Book!! @thebodybookLADIES!! I wrote this book for YOU and YOUR BODY.. And I'm so excited to share it with you!!”
