Phil Everly, one half of the famous, ground-breaking duo the Everly Brothers, has died at the age of 74. The New York Times reported that according to Phil's son Jason, the cause of death was complications of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Phil and his older brother Don had a number of hits throughout the 50s and 60s such as "Cathy's Clown" and "All I Have To Do Is Dream," and the two inspired many musicians after their time.
