Sean Penn and Charlize Theron are starting rumors of a possible romance after they returned to Los Angeles together following a New Year’s getaway in Hawaii.
Penn and the Oscar-winning actress were seen on the beach in Hawaii ringing in the new year together. On Thursday, Penn was seen leaving Theron’s Los Angeles home the morning after they caught the same flight back home.
According to Just Jared, this isn’t the first round of Penn/Theron romance rumors. A few years back, they were rumored to be dating after they were seen out dining together.
Penn and Theron attended Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane’s holiday party last month and were also at his 40th birthday party in October, E! Online reports.
When they were first spotted together in 2010, they were both going through break-ups with their respective exes. Penn had just split from his wife, Robin Wright, and Theron ended her long-term relationship with Stuart Townsend.
Theron has a 2-year-old son, Jackson, who she adopted, but he wasn’t on the trip with the rumored couple.
