Comedy Central is hoping to build a roster of scripted shows, starting with a new project from actor Ben Stiller and his Red Hour banner. The series is called Big Time In Hollywood, FL and earned a 10-episode order.

Big Time, also from Brillstein Entertainment Partners, stars Alex Anfanger and Lenny Jacobson as brothers who are amateur filmmakers. Their parents just kicked them out and now they have to pursue their American dream on their own. Anfanger and Dan Schimpf wrote it, notes Deadline.

Kent Alterman, Comedy Central’s president of content development and original programming, told The Hollywood Reporter in May that he wished his network had more scripted shows to go with Workaholics. He thought that Workaholics would be just the start, adding, “It's been more difficult than I anticipated.”

Anfanger was recently seen in Stiller’s The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. Both he and Schimpf graduated from NYU Tisch Arts in 2008 and were roommates.

Red Hour also has a series at IFC called The Birthday Boys and the Comedy Central stand-up show Jonah and Kumail.
