Country Singer Trace Adkins has decided to check into alcohol rehab on Wednesday after drinking while on a cruise. He may have also gotten into a fight with his impersonator.

The singer's publicist confirmed the news with The Associated Press. The 52-year-old consumed alcohol during the Country Cruising cruise with the Norwegian Cruise Lines.
The remaining performances he had scheduled during the one-week cruise have been cancelled.

According to New York Daily News, Adkins had been sober for 12 years. "Trace has entered a treatment facility after a setback in his battle with alcoholism," his rep said. "As he faces these issues head-on, we ask that his family's privacy will be respected."

TMZ is reporting that after Adkins started drinking he reportedly picked a fight with his impersonator. His impersonator was performing karaoke when for some reason a fight broke out between the two men.

Daily News notes that Adkins has always been fairly open with his issues with alcoholism. The country singer has checked into rehab previously back in 2002 after having an accident with a tractor.
