James Avery of Fresh Prince of Belair died on New Year’s Eve at the age of 68. The actor died from complication of open heart surgery. Alfonso Ribeiro has already tweeted that he “will miss him greatly.” Ribeiro played Carlton on the show.
Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson is stirring up trouble again. A video released over the weekend shows Robertson telling men to marry girls as young as 15. The video is from a 2009 speech given at a Georgia Sportsmen’s Ministry but just surfaced over the weekend. Robertson does follow his own advice. He married his wife Kay when she was 15.
Marvel Studios and Disney released the first official still for the film Guardians of the Galaxy which is set to hit theaters August 1st this year. The photo features the five main characters standing in line, giving us an introduction to the main cast. The characters in the still are Star-Lord, Drax the Destroyer, Gamora, Rocket Racoon and Groot.
Kaley Cuoco of The Big Bang Theory and fiancé Ryan Sweeting wed on New Year’s Eve. The ceremony was held at Grand Vista hotel in Simi Valley and Cuoco wore a pink Vera Wang gown.
