More gruesome details of the death of Paul Walker and friend, Roger Rodas have been released in the final coroners report. The Fast And The Furious Star died on Nov. 30 when the Porsche the two were in crashed into a light post and trees and then went up in flames. The report explains Rodas was driving the Porsche at an unsafe speed of 100 mph at the time of the accident. The report also reveals that after the car crashed and exploded, Walker’s body was burned to the point that no organs could be recovered for transplants and his body was found in a “pugilistic” stance, as if bracing for the impact.
Soon to be Rock and Roll Hall of Famers, KISS has announced they will be performing at the first ever-outdoor NHL hockey game. The game between Anaheim Ducks and the LA Kings is set to take place on Jan. 25 at Dodger Stadium. The “Rock And Roll All Night,” artists will perform before the game begins and during the first intermission.
Rick Ross has set a lawsuit against LMFAO’s Stefan Kendal Gordy (Redfoo) and Skyler Austen Gordy (SkyBlu) for allegedly taking a lyric from his “Hustlin’” single. The popular party song, Party Rock Anthem,” uses the lyric, “everyday I’m shufflin’…” which echos Ross’ “everyday I’m hustlin’” Ross also accuses the band of using the lyric in an attempt to gain from the popularity of the “Hustlin” single.
After successfully releasing his Autobiography, Morrissey is keeping busy in the New Year with plans of writing a novel as well as a new album. Morrissey claims to have lost faith in the music industry claiming most number one spots on the charts are reserved for major labels and therefore most stations will not play his music. Morrissey also noted in a Q&A with fans that there is no longer any passion in pop or rock music in the industry. He has begun working on new music for his album, which includes a song named after his second favorite city-Istanbul.
Former child star twins, Tia and Tamera Mowry have decided against a fourth season of their reality show, Tia and Tamera. Tamera announced on Twitter there would not be a fourth season. The two will continue their careers, but are choosing to live their personal lives privately. Tia Mowry-Hardrict will continue to appear on her show Instant Mom and Tamera Mowry-Housley will continue her work on the talk show, The Real
Disney continues their efforts towards gathering the entire Star Wars brand under one roof as they have announced the Star Wars comic books will be once again published by Marvel comics in 2015. Marvel was the original publisher of the Star Wars books when the original Trilogy films were released, but then Dark Horse took the Star Wars license in 1991. Since purchasing Lucasfilms in October 2012, Disney has shutdown numerous subdivisions of the company in an effort to have complete oversight of the comics and brand.
