Elisabeth Moss gave the mani cam the middle finger during E!’s red carpet coverage before the Golden Globes on live television.
The Mad Men actress told Giuliana Ranic, who urged her to show off her manicure in the mani cam, "I did this last time. There's something I wanted to do last time, but I'm not going to do it,” E! Online reports.
Rancic egged her on, not knowing exactly what she would do, saying “Do it! C'mon, do it! This is E! We're in 160 countries!"
After she gave the middle finger, she told the Giuliana & Bill star and red carpet correspondent, "You said to do it!”
“The good news is, I don't think we can get in any trouble for that,” said Rancic, with Moss adding, "You said to do whatever I wanted! It's the end of the carpet! Spice it up a little!"
Bustle notes Rancic’s reaction to Moss’ gesture was possibly the best thing about the whole incident.
The Golden Globes air tonight at 8pm on NBC.
