Emma Roberts cuts her long locks for a new edgy cut- the bob.

The 22-year-old actress, most recently seen on American Horror Story , debuted her look at ELLE’s Annual Women in Television Celebration in Hollywood, says US Magazine . The new do is shorter in the back and falls just passed her chin.

Roberts kept the edgy look going at the event Wednesday with a bold cut-out black top, loose white skirt and pair of Christian Louboutin Grorolli Pumps.

While the star did not wear much in the way of jewelry, one piece did stick out, reports Yahoo. The recently engaged actress sported her new engagement ring, given to her by American Horror Story co-star and beau Evan Peters, 27. The couple first went public about their relationship back in July 2012.

Roberts is only the newest addition of celebrities who have gone to the bob. Starlets Jennifer Aniston and Kristen Wiig have also recently gotten the trendy cut.
