Former Bachelorette, Emily Maynard, is engaged to management consultant Tyler Johnson. She’s been engaged three times before; to the late Ricky Hendrick, former Bachelor Brad Womack and the winner of her season of the ABC show, Jef Holm.
It wasn’t your everyday engagement, as Tyler, 27, popped the question with five diamond bands instead of a diamond engagement ring. He also gave one to her daughter, Ricki, 8. "I've had enough engagement rings!" she said.
"We're really excited!! He proposed to me at home and gave both Ricki and me rings. It was so sweet! Ricki loves him more than she likes me!" Maynard told Us Weekly of the engagement.
She added of an imminent wedding date, "We definitely are looking to get married sooner rather than later. No point in waiting!"
On New Year’s Eve, Maynard, a Season 15 contestant on The Bachelor, posted a photo of herself on Instagram with her now-fiance, writing “it’s going to be a good year.”
Maynard called off her engagement to Holm in 2012.
