The NFL on Fox has never been bigger than this season. This season has been the most-watched campaign in 20 years. Televising the league started back in 1994.

The NFL is currently in week 17 for the season and has experiencing another ratings peak. The Green Bay Packers-Chicago Bear matchup, the NFL on Fox averaged 21.2 million viewers for the 2013 season. This was an increase from 2012 which had about 19.7 million viewers.

Week 17 will feature games between the San Diego Chargers and the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Wrap reported that in relation to viewership for the Fox network, the NFL on Fox finished up eight percent from 2011.

A variety of networks are also adding a live stream features for fans to enjoy the action. CBS will stream its AFC playoff games without charge. This is something that the network has never done before. NBC will live-stream its two wild card playoff games, also for no charge.

Variety reported that this years football action has been drawing in consistent viewers and ratings showed a 25% increase since the last five NFL seasons.
