FX has put in 10-episode series orders for two comedies, You're the Worst and Married, with both shows to premiere in July.
The first comedy is You're the Worst, which was created by Stephen Falk, who has worked on Weeds and Orange Is the New Black, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The show stars Chris Geere, Desmin Borges, Kether Donohue and Aya Cash.
The show follows a love story between two unbearable and toxic people that somehow end up falling in love with each other.
Nat Faxon, who co-wrote Oscar-winning film The Descendants, and Judy Greer are reuniting for Married, to play a married couple, reports Variety. They are two good friends that have a good marriage, but struggle in the bedroom.
FX president of original programming Nick Grad said, "'Married' and 'You're the Worst' represent the continuing expansion of our comedy brand. They are smart, funny and adult."
He added, "'Married' is a frank and honest portrayal of a marriage -- both good and bad. 'You're the Worst' examines relationships -- or lack thereof -- of millennials and the uncertainty and anxiety that comes with those relationships."
