Precious star Gabourey Sidibe responded to online critics of her Golden Globes dress with an amusing slam through her Twitter account.
During the red carpet portion of the Golden Globes, some Twitter users felt it necessary to comment and belittle the 30-year-old actress with snide comments relating to her dress and weight, reports New York Daily News.
One commenter wrote, "Geez! She looks like the chubby ghost from Caspar."
Once the show was over, Sidibe took to Twitter not to yell and rage, but to calm respond to the rude comments. She tweeted: "To people making mean comments about my GG pics, I mos def cried about it on that private jet on my way to my dream job last night."
According to Us Weekly, the support the American Horror Story actress received for her response surprised her.
In her follow up tweet, Sidibe thanked everyone who responded so positively, then slyly noted in her hashtags that the private plane wasn't exactly hers."
