With the Golden Globes just getting starting the action, comedy and awards kept on going in full force.
The awards continued with, best supporting actor in a TV series went to Jon Voight for his work on the show Ray Donovan.
Robert Downey Jr. took to the stage to present one of the highest honors of the night, best actress in a motion picture musical or comedy. Amy Adams took home the award for her work on American Hustle.
The next award was for best actress in a TV series drama, the award went to Robin Wright for House of Cards. Wright ran to the stage to accept her award, she thanked Netflix and her co-star Kevin Spacey.
Jim Carrey took the stage next, even taking the time to crack a few jokes himself, including one at Shia LaBeouf. Carrey introduced American Hustle, which is nominated for best motion picture musical or comedy.
The next award of the night went to Jared Leto for his work as a supporting actor in Dallas Buyers Club.
Emma Thompson took the stage next holding her shoes and drink, following that priceless entrance she introduced the nominees for best screenplay. The winner was Her.
The next award was for best actor in a comedy musical. The award went to Andy Samberg for his work on Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
The next award was for best foreign language film, the award went to Great Beauty.
Jimmy Fallon and Melissa Mccarthy took to the stage next to present the award for best actor in TV mini-series. The award went to Michael Douglas for his work on Behind the Candelabra.
Best actress for a TV series comedy went to host Amy Poehler, who gladly accepted the award and thanked her entire crew and cast.
