Jon Bon Jovi, Steven Tyler and John Fogerty are scheduled to perform at “Howard Stern’s Birthday Bash.” Howard Stern, whose actual birthday was Jan. 12, says that he is excited about the celebration.
The star-studded event will be attended by many A-list celebrities, including Stern’s fans from the music industry. According to The Hollywood Reporter, comedian Louis C.K. said on a recent Howard Stern show, "I am very excited to see Jon and thank him for that. And also one of my heroes will perform that night -- one of the all-time greats. ... A guy whose every record I bought when he was in Creedence Clearwater Revival, and later his solo stuff. John Fogerty will come by to perform two great songs. I won’t say what the songs are, [but] we’re really excited about that."
The event will take place at the Hammerstein Ballroom. The show, presented by Sixius XM, is in honor of the radio star’s 60th birthday. According to Variety, Sirius XM has provided the “King of All Media” with a contract for another five years on the air waves. According to Sirius executives, Stern’s fans total approximately 20 million.
