When Jacqueline Bisset accepted her Golden Globe award in the for Best Supporting Actress in a TV Show, Miniseries or TV Movie category for her work in Dancing on the Edge, she provided one of the most awkward moments of the night.

She gave both a cringe-worthy and heartfelt speech after standing silent for a few moments, likely taking it all in.

Since she cursed, she was bleeped out by NBC, but what she really said was "For those who have given me s--t, like my mother always said, 'Go to hell and don't come back!'" ABC News reports.

She tried to explain the headline-making moment to Variety, saying “I was told my category was coming up second from last, so I was absolutely stunned. I wondered why the guy was there with a camera on me.” She added, “I was completely out of it, I was thinking about my dinner. And I still haven’t gotten my dinner yet.”

She also said, “I can’t really remember what I said, actually.”

Those who caught the part where she cursed were unsure about what she had said and took to Twitter to comment on it, including Ellen DeGeneres who tweeted:
