Beyoncé and Jay Z have already proved they are the power couple of the year. After their sexy performance of hit song “Drunk in Love” at tonight’s Grammy Awards, the two were shown dancing and cuddling all night. You can see the affection they have for each other and that they truly enjoy each other’s company. But it was Jay Z's heartwarming speech that stole the night for the two.
It seems everyone was in awe of the two over night. Us Weekly points out that twitter was filled with tweets about how amazing these two stars are together. Celebrities and fans all over couldn’t say better things about the couple.
What really stole the night, though, was Jay’s acceptance speech after winning a Grammy for his and Justin Timerlake’s song, “Holy Grail.” Jay made it clear to point out his beautiful wife in the audience and even mention their pride of joy, daughter Blue Ivy.
“I want to thank God. I mean a little bit for this award, but mostly for that and all the universes for conspiring and putting that beautiful light of a young woman in my life.” Jay said as he beamed at Beyoncé in the audience. “And I want to tell Blue that look, Daddy got a gold sippy cup for you!”
It makes sense that the daughter of these two would drink from nothing other than a gold Grammy award. The “gold sippy cup” was such a huge hit and even has its own twitter account.
