Jenna Dewan Tatum is in better shape than ever after giving birth to her first child with husband Channing Tatum just seven months ago, baby Everly.
The Witches of East End actress cites staying active and eating healthy during her pregnancy for being able to get back to a size 0. She also said having a deadline of six weeks to start filming her new show was a “good motivator.”
Posing for the cover of Us Weekly in a series of sexy outfits, Dewan Tatum showed off her hard work.
"I wasn't one of those girls who's obsessed with losing the weight, but that was a pretty good motivator!" she said of having six weeks to get in shape after giving birth to her daughter in May of last year. "I thought, I've got to fit in the clothes I wore before!"
During her pregnancy, she lived in London while her husband filming Jupiter Ascending. She said working out "kept me sane. I would feel a burst of energy and all my hormones would regulate."
The longtime vegetarian said instead of indulging while pregnant, "To me, it was, 'I'm growing a human being, and I want to give this little soul the best nutrition I can.'"
Dewan Tatum gave birth to Everly on May 30 in London.
