Jessica Chastain has played her fair share of strong characters on the big screen, so it comes as no surprise that the Oscar nominee would love to bring Brave’s strong princess Merida to life. In the latest edition of Disney’s Dream Portrait series, Chastain posed for Annie Leibowitz as Merida.

Disney showed off the portrait today, which features the red-haired Chastain posed on a horse, pulling back an arrow, just like Merida. The image, which will appear in the next issue of O - The Oprah Magazine, is captioned, “Where your destiny awaits.”

The photoshoot was featured on Entertainment Tonight Wednesday. “I definitely see her as a modern princess,” Chastain said. “She's headstrong, she's funny, she has great passion. It's a good role model for young girls.”

Chastain isn’t the first celebrity to post for the Disney Dream Portrait series. Last year, Taylor Swift posted as Rapunzel. Other stars to take part in the series include Russell Brand, Jessica Biel, Beyonce, Jack Black, Will Ferrell, Jason Segel and Rachel Weisz.

Chastain has been nominated for Oscars for The Help and Zero Dark Thirty. One of her next films is Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar with Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway and Casey Affleck. It opens in November.
