Johnny Depp is rumored to have proposed to his girlfriend Amber Heard after she was spotted with a diamond ring on her finger leaving restaurant Ago in Los Angeles with a friend.
As soon as Heard realized the paparazzi were taking pictures of the ring, she covered it up with her other hand.
E! Online reports Heard, 27, and Depp, 50, made their red carpet debut together at the Art of Elysium gala at L.A.'s Skirball Center on Saturday night after meeting on the set of their film The Rum Diaries in 2011 and starting to date after Depp’s split with Vanessa Paradis. Depp will be making a cameo in her upcoming film London Fields.
If the engagement rumors are true, this will be the first marriage for both. Depp split with his girlfriend of 14 years and mother of his children; Paradis in 2012. Heard was in a relationship with photographer Tasya van Ree for four years before dating Depp.
Extra reports the couple both attended the Golden Globes, where they both presented, but chose not to walk the red carpet together.
