The same day Jon and Kate Gosselin’s twins; Cary and Mady, 13, spoke out for the first time on their own in a People cover story, their father is accusing their mom of exploiting them for money.

Gosselin spoke with InTouch and slammed his ex-wife for using their kids Cara and Mady as well as sextuplets Aaden, Alexis, Collin,Hannah, Joel and Leah, 9, as “props.”

"It's a problem for her that she can't afford our old lifestyle anymore. It's so unfair to them. I work really hard to keep my kids safe and then she just goes and tweets about them all the time,” he said. “I don't have a Twitter anymore and even when I did, I never tweeted about my kids. I kept their lives private."

Despite allowing cameras into the home he shared with his ex for most of their kids’ childhood, Gosselin’s stance on children being television is completely different now.

"I don't think being on TV is good for kids,” he said, adding that most of his eight kids don’t want to be on TV. He called it “upsetting and embarrassing for them” that their mom pushes them into the spotlight.

Meanwhile, Cary and Mady sing a different tune. “We'd love to do it again. We miss the crew, the people we saw everyday. It was fun,” Cara said of their TLC show.
