After the Toronto police announced that they had plans to pursue the assault case involving Justin Bieber after he landed in Canada, the singer turned himself in.
On December 29, Justin Bieber and his entourage went to a Toronto Maple Leaf game. Allegedly, Bieber or a member of his entourage assaulted their limo driver. According to Good Morning America , Toronto police were called after a limo picked up 6 people outside of a nightclub to take them to the hotel. Half way there, an altercation occurred between the driver, and a member in the car. The driver stopped, and got out of the car, immediately calling the police.
When the singer touched ground in Canada, he surrendered himself to Toronto police. According to BBC News, the singer was booked, and will have to go to court at a later date.
The Canada native has left a trail of charges including DUI and drag racing in Miami, and property damage to his neighbor’s house in Calabasas, California.
Bieber has to appear in court for his DUI and drag racing charges on Valentine’s Day, while a date has not been set for his alleged assault charges in Canada.
