Actor Kevin Hart could be appearing a new comedy on ABC. The show is entitled Community.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the half-hour comedy is based on Hart’s stand-up act. Community is a relationship comedy. Neil Goldman and Garrett Donovan are executive producers on the project. They are also writing the script. The duo is known for their work on Worst Week, Scrubs, Family Guy, and the TV movie, Nobody’s Watching.

It’s been a productive year for Hart. The announcement about Community comes on the heels of the opening of Ride Along, which opened on Jan. 17. Hart played Ben Barber in the film. Ice Cube co-starred. Hart told Variety, “I’m just glad all my hard work is paying off. You don’t work hard to take a break, you work hard to continue to have success and that what I plan on doing — to keep working hard and hope it continues to pay off.”

Hart was seen in the television series, Modern Family. He also appeared in This Is the End and Second Generation Wayans.
