Mariah Carey, who has arguably capitalized on Christmas and is often times referred to as the Queen of Christmas, will write a Christmas book for children along with her husband Nick Cannon. The couple are parents to twins Moroccan and Monroe.

The book will be based on the twins, who were born in April 2011, and published by Scholastic. It’s titled Roc and Roe's Twelve Days of Christmas.

“We are so excited to work with the Scholastic team on our Roc and Roe picture book and we can't wait until this holiday season," Carey and Cannon said in a statement, The BBC reports.

Vice president and editorial director at Scholastic Press Picture Books, Ken Geist, also said in a statement about working with the couple on the book that it’s the “perfect book to read with your little ones - an adorable spin on a classic tale, sprinkled with humor and heart.”

Bussiness Standard reports the book will be illustrated by AG Ford, a New York Times bestselling artist. The book is meant for children aged 3 and up.

Carey has contributed to the Christmas season in another big way with her hit song “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”
