Film actors Matthew McConaughey and Amy Adams will appear on Inside the Actors Studio.
Inside the Actors Studio is a popular show where actors get to chance to discuss the craft of acting. Adams is nominated for Best Actress for her role as Sydney Prosser in American Hustle. McConaughey received his first Oscar nomination this year.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Interviewer James Lipton said in the announcement of the specials, “The period leading up to the Oscars is always our busiest time of the year, possibly because so many of our guests have wound up holding the treasured trophy.”
It has been a stellar year for Amy Adams who was nominated for her film, American Hustle. She has also been seen in On the Road, The Master, Man of Steel, and Her. Matthew McConaughey’s most recent project is the TV series, True Detective. He has also been seen in the Wolf of Wall Street, Dallas Buyers Club, and The Paperboy.
According to E! Online, the shows will air on consecutive nights, Feb. 19 and Feb. 20.
