Comedienne Melissa McCarthy has been tapped to host the Super Bowl weekend episode of Saturday Night Live.

Sources confirmed exclusively with Variety, the McCarthy would be the host. No musical guest has been announced.

The Heat actress has hosted SNL twice previously, with the last one coming not even a year ago, but both have posted solid ratings.

McCarthy will next be seen in the summer flick Tammy alongside Susan Sarandon. The comedy has McCarthy's character hitting the road with her vulgar and alcoholic grandmother.

Jonah Hill will host the weekend before her on Jan. 25. His third appearance comes amidst award buzz and with his film Wolf of Wall Street in theaters. Bastille is slated to be the musical guest.

SNL will return from its break on Jan. 18 and will feature rapper Drake as both the host and the musical performer on the evening. His episode will mark the first appearance of the recently added Sasheer Zamata.
