The videos for Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” and Britney Spears’ “Work Bitch” are apparently too risque even for France. A television watchdog group in France has suggested that the two racy videos not be aired on daytime television.

The group, CSA, released a statement Thursday, noting that some networks had been running the videos during the daytime without any parental warnings, reports The Associated Press.

In the “Wrecking Ball” video, Cyrus is seen swinging on a wrecking ball in the nude, which the group called too sexually explicit. It was released in September and quickly set the record for the most views on Vevo in one week.

Spears’ “Work Bitch” video features the pop star with bondage gear and shows “a sadomasochistic universe representing women in a way that risks shocking many viewers,” the CSA group said.

If the released version of “Work Bitch” is too much for French television, we can only imagine what the reaction would have been if Spears was not asked to tone it down while filming.

“We showed way more skin and did way more stuff for the video then what is actually there,” Spears said in a radio interview in October. “I just have to be true to myself and you know, feel it out when I do stuff.”
