Miranda Lambert, female country superstar and wife to Voice coach has joined the show but as a mentor for Team Shakira.
Lambert first joined the show back in season two when she worked as a mentor with Team Blake but now it seems as though the country superstar is switching allegiances.
US Magazine reported that Shakira and Lambert get along very well on and off set. Shelton has already been cracking jokes that Lambert is helping another team but in real life, the country superstar couple is going strong.
The duo has been together for two years and despite many rumors that their marriage is on the rocks, they stand strong and united. Shelton recently spoke with CBS This Morning saying, "We had our ups and downs for damn sure along the way. I just could not imagine her not being in my life, I just couldn't get over her. I know I can't," said Shelton.
The Voice will be returning to NBC on Monday, February 24th with returning coaches Shelton, Adam Levine along with, Usher and Shakira.
