Sosie Bacon, the 21-year-old daughter of actors Kyra Sedgwick and Kevin Bacon, will have all eyes on her on Sunday when she acts as Miss Golden Globe at the 2014 Golden Globes.
Bacon appeared on the Today Show on Friday morning and expressed her nerves for this weekend’s big event.
She called being chosen by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association “really exciting," but also admitted she was scared of tripping.
"I'm terrified (of tripping in my heels)," she said. "I think I'm going to do OK, because I kind of have a couple of days to try out the heels and make sure I can stand for so long."
The honor of Miss Golden Globe is typically appointed to the child of celebrities. Past Miss Golden Globes include the daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis; Rumer Willis and Fifty Shades of Grey star Dakota Johnson, the daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson.
“This year’s honoree is also a talented actress in her own right whom I am sure we will hear and see a lot of in the future,” HFPA president Theo Kingma said at the time.
