On Monday during the Television Critics Association press tour, NBC chief Bob Greenblatt spoke about the uncertainty surrounding freshmen shows The Michael J. Fox Show and Sean Saves the World.

Neither show has done well at all in the ratings and Greenblatt is considering a move for The Michael J. Fox Show. He also mentioned the show might yet return for a second season, reports Digital Spy. Despite the low ratings, which have hovered around 0.6 in the 18-49 demographic, the show has not been cancelled.

The NBC head also said that though Show and Saves the World are struggling in the ratings, he is still "creatively" proud of the programs. "We think they're good shows, and we're really unhappy that we can't find an audience for them."

The peacock network has shown that it won't give up on shows, despite how much they flounder in the ratings. Look no further than Parks and Recreation, which has always struggled to find consistent viewers, but was renewed for a seventh season on Monday.

Community might also return for another season, but NBC isn't completely behind the show, but Entertainment President Jennifer Salke said that there is a "strong" possibility that the Dan Harmon-created show returns.
