NBC announced that the peacock network has put in pilot orders for an additional two comedy shows, one is a remake of Money Pit and the other is called Fifth Wheel.

Money Pit will be a multi-camera half-hour comedy, reports Variety.

The show is remake of the 1986 film of the same title that starred Tom Hanks and Shelley Long. Justin Spitzer, of The Office adapted the film for the TV. He will also executive produce the pilot along with Amblin TV's Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey.

Money Pit follows a newly married couple who struggle in their marriage as well as trying to fix up a distress-sale mansion they were fooled into purchasing.

According to Deadline, the other pilot Fifth Wheel will be also be a multi-camera comedy.

This show, brought from ABC Studios and The Mark Gordon Co. focuses on a girl in her twenties who is doing her best to deal with being the only single person left among her friends.

Fifth Wheel is being executive produced by Gordon and Andrea Shay. Heidi Neidermeyer and Elena Crevello will produce and they co-wrote the script together.
