Neil Patrick Harris will be honored Tasty Pudding's Man of the Year.
According to the Associated Press, Harris said in a statement, "I assume this is for that pudding wrestling competition I won last April ... right? It was dark and seemed quite seedy at the time - I'm stoked that it's connected with Harvard. Fancy! Can't wait."
The Man of the Year Award has been presented since 1951, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Tasty Pudding Theatricals is Harvard’s oldest undergraduate drama troupe. At each gathering, members present a pot of Tasty Pudding. Harris will be given his pudding pot this year after a parade. Helen Mirren will also be honored, as she was named Tasty Pudding’s Woman of the Year. The parade will take place in Harvard Square on Feb. 7. In addition to participating in the parade, Harris will also tour the new Tasty Pudding Headquarters.
Neil Patrick Harris was known for his work on the television show, Doogie Houser, M.D.. He has recently appeared in the TV series, How I Met Your Mother.
