Friday Night Lights star Kyle Chandler has been cast to star in an upcoming drama series on Netflix.

The show was brought to Netflix by Damages' creators Todd A. Kessler, Glenn Kessler and Daniel Zelman, according to Deadline, who first reported the news. The show is being done through Sony Pictures TV.

Chandler, who most recently appeared in the Oscar-nominated Wolf of Wall Street previously worked with Sony TV on the passed Showtime drama series The Vatican.

The Hollywood Reporter notes that the 13-episode series will focus on a family of adult siblings who find their dark secrets bubble up to the surface when their outcast brother returns.

Chandler has been brought on to play the middle brother, who is married and in law enforcement. Because he is the more responsible member of the family, he often finds himself taking care of everyone else.

Chandler has recently appeared in other well-received films, such as Super 8, Argo and Zero Dark Thirty.
